Tastes Like Spring

Spring is still nearly three weeks away, but according to this Purple Finch, it tastes like spring right now here in Sonoma. Each year, it seems like the seasons are starting earlier and earlier. Right now, many of the trees are already budding and blooming. Our daffodils popped up weeks ago. . . . I love spring, but the possible adverse effects of climate change make these seasonal shifts kind of scary.

I just wish I could be as happy as this Finch. . . . Hmm, maybe I need more flower in my diet?
